Woodbine Continues to Receive Municipal Alliance Funds

WOODBINE – The Cape May County Department of Human Services has informed the Woodbine Municipal Alliance that the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (GCADA) has approved the Alliance for a grant totaling $11,000.
This funding consists of a DEDR (State) funds in the amount of $5,500, municipal cash match of $1,375, and an in-kind match of $4,125, both provided by the Borough, for a total grant of $11,000.
“I am pleased to see our Alliance grant reauthorized for another year. The Alliance has sponsored and supported numerous activities throughout the community and at the school and recently partnered with our Sustainable Jersey Green Team for its annual clean-up day in Lincoln Park,” added Mayor Pikolycky. “The support of volunteers is essential to continue the Committee’s work. Anyone interested in assisting with the Municipal Alliance, please contact my office.”
