COURT HOUSE — The fifth annual Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Conference will be held March 25, at the Golden Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Avalon.
The conference will run from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $50 for chamber members; $75 for non-members and includes a lunch buffet and hors d’oeuvres at the networking reception.
This year’s conference features network television journalist, motivational speaker and author Jennifer Lewis-Hall as keynote speaker discussing “The Power of Change: Unleashing A Greater Version of You!” Lewis-Hall’s mantra of living well and enjoying “the journey” shares how she built an exceptional career in network television and multimedia while being a dedicated wife, a mother and friend.
This Emmy-nominated journalist is also the author of “Life Changes – Using the Power of Change to Transform Your Life” where she shares her successful insights on how to deal with change, manage it effectively and how to overcome fears.
The conference begins with lunch speaker, Rita Fulginiti, Cape May County clerk who will rev up the crowd speaking on “The Past is History. We are Creating the New Norm.”
Concurrent break out sessions will be offered on a first-come, first-served pre-registration basis. Session options include: a two part session of financial planning featuring “Women, Money and Power” with Cherie Kuick Brooks and Karen Drancik of Neuberger Berman, followed by “Taking the Stress Out of Financing Your Business” with Jacquie Siracusa of Sun National Bank.
Also “Social Networking for Businesses” with Winnie Anderson, Social Marketing strategist; “The Mind/Body Connection” with Christine Lane, Shore Counseling LLC; “Embracing Public Speaking – 5 Tips to Minimize Anxiety” with Joy Jones of Atlantic Cape Community College.
