WILDWOOD – Lifeguards will be on duty Memorial Day Weekend May, 26-28, and the following weekend, June 2-3 at a limited number of beaches from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Beginning June 16, lifeguards will be on duty daily at a limited number of beaches. If necessary, areas that bathers will not be permitted to swim in will be designated by red flags with the international “no-swimming” symbol on them.
If necessary, bathers will be directed to the guarded beaches. This will be the standard operating procedure until the beach patrol is fully staffed and all beaches are guarded, tentatively scheduled for June 23.
