As crowds gear up for the annual Black Friday rush for discounts and deals, the Wetlands Institute would like to encourage shoppers to “give green,” and think of the environment while searching for those perfect gifts.
Instead of fighting the mobs of shoppers, visit the Wetlands Institute and do all of your holiday shopping in 10 minutes, with a variety of one-year memberships.
The Wetlands Institute features seven different membership levels ranging in pricing and benefits.
For a friend who has everything, even the most basic of membership levels—Individual—includes one year of general admission to the Institute, discounted admission to special events, a discount in our gift shop, as well as a quarterly newsletter detailing the upcoming events.
Unsure of what to get that special someone? Our Tower Membership includes all that is listed above along with 10 guest passes, 12 tickets to the Wings ‘n Water Festival, two tickets to the Wings ‘n Water Opening Party, 10 percent off facility rental, two skimmer tickets, and champagne in the Tower accompanied with a private tour for you and six guests with the Director of Research.
Open year-round, the Institute hosts a variety of presentations, classes, and demonstrations that will appeal to toddlers all the way up to grandparents.
A small sampling of our schedule for this winter include Holiday Hoopla (a visit from Santa and his reindeer), a Teddy Bear Tea Party, cooking classes, card parties, jewelry making classes, live animal demonstrations, fishing presentations, turtle releases, and much more.
This holiday season, don’t just think green…give green, with a membership to the Wetlands Institute. For more information, call the Institute at 609-368-1211 or visit our website at wetlandsinstitute.org.
Our mission is to promote appreciation, understanding, and stewardship of wetlands and coastal ecosystems through our programs in research, education, and conservation.
Located near Stone Harbor and historic Cape May, the Wetlands Institute is situated on 6,000 acres of coastal wetlands.
The marsh, nearby upland, and barrier islands are the living laboratory where more than 40,000 visitors each year learn about life on this thin ribbon between land and sea.
