COURT HOUSE – National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Cape May County.
The warning remains in effect from Sun., Mar. 2 at 9 p.m. to Mon., Mar. 3 at 4 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service, South Jersey will begin to see rain late Sun. afternoon which will change to sleet or freezing rain for a time late Sun. evening before changing to all snow by 3 a.m. Mon. The snow will be moderate to heavy at times Mon. and then end late in the day.
Snow accumulations are predicted to be between 6-10 inches.
Near record cold is possible late Mon. night as temperatures drop to between 5 and 10 degrees above zero.
The snow and sleet will create hazardous driving conditions. Mon. morning’s commute will be particularly difficult, so if you have to venture out, use extreme caution.
