RIO GRANDE — The Wal-Mart store in Grande Center was closed Feb. 10 about 7 a.m. and remained closed Thursday, Feb. 11 as a precaution due to an abundance of snow on the roof. The snow is being removed as quickly as possible.
“We wanted to make it was sure absolutely safe and sound for our associates and customers,” stated Wal Mart spokesperson Anna Taylor.
“They are working to remove the snow from roof. We are unsure when it might reopen. They are working as quickly as possible.
“They made the decision as a precaution. The snow definitely needs to come off the roof, and they are working to remove it,” Taylor said.
