UPDATE: County Rescinds Emergency Declaration

COUNTY PRESS RELEASE:
COURT HOUSE — The County of Cape May has rescinded the Emergency Proclamation enacted on Feb. 5.
Emergency Management Director Frank McCall said, “The local disaster emergency proclamation issued on the 5th day of February, 2010 at 3 p.m. and as updated on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 9 a.m., pursuant to the powers vested by the laws of the State of New Jersey is no longer necessary. Therefore in accordance with the aforesaid laws, I do hereby declare that the local disaster emergency no longer exist and rescind the aforesaid proclamation.”
