Below are cancellations, closings and delays reported to the Cape May County Herald: 
ENTERTAINMENT:
– Cape May MAC’s Historic District Trolley Tour scheduled for Monday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. is cancelled.
GOVERNMENT:
– Due to hazardous road conditions expected during the evening commute, the State of New Jersey is closing state offices at 3 p.m. Jan. 8. Essential personnel will remain until the normal close of business. 
– Customers of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) are advised that due to the impending weather conditions, all MVC facilities including agencies, suspension and restoration centers, driver testing locations and inspection stations, will be closing for the day at 3 p.m., Jan. 8 
Online services will remain available during the current weather-related facility closures. 
MVC reminds customers to always check their website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of their “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and their online services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.

SCHOOLS:
– Cape Christian Academy will be opening at regular time Jan. 8, but since Middle Township buses will operate 90 minutes late, students will not be marked late until 9:30 a.m. 
Cape May County Technical School/Evening Community Education Program has been cancelled for tonight, Jan. 8, due to anticipated freezing rain and unsafe driving conditions.
– Dennis Township schools will be opening 90 minutes late Jan. 8. There will be no morning latchkey.
Middle Township schools will be opening 90 minutes late Jan. 8. There will be no AM Pre-K and no AM MASK.
