State of New Jersey Announces 11 a.m. Delayed Opening For State Offices March 5

TRENTON – In order to allow ample time for roadways, parking lots and sidewalks to be cleared and made safe for travel, the State of New Jersey authorized a delayed opening of 11 a.m. for all non-essential state employees Thursday, March 5. Essential employees should report to work on their regular schedule. The State will continue to monitor the storm and issue additional information as conditions develop. New Jerseyans are advised to check in the morning for the latest information and updates.
Tonight’s storm is expected to continue through Thursday, bringing heavy snow, mixed precipitation including ice, and freezing temperatures throughout the State. Current road conditions are available at the New Jersey Department of Transportation website at www.NJ511.org.
