Soaking Rain in Today’s Forecast

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Cape May county due to heavy rain conditions.
Today: Rain and thunderstorms before 8am, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 80. Calm wind becoming northeast between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Tonight: Rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9pm, then a chance of rain and thunderstorms between 9pm and 2am, then a chance of rain after 2am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a low around 64. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
