Snow Hits Cape for Second Time in Two Days

RIO GRANDE — Snow fell across Cape May County Monday afternoon, Jan. 19 for the second time in 24 hours.
The first blanket of about a half inch fell Sunday, Jan. 18 as Eagles fans were reeling from their teams’ defeat in Arizona.
The freezing and thawing also resulted in many broken pipes, especially in barrier island communities where police reported some heavy water flows from multi-unit structures.
