Severe Thunderstorms Bring Relief and Power Outages

After several days of excessive heat and oppressive humidity, a severe thunderstorm moved through the area bringing some relief.
At 4:13 p.m., a Tornado Warning was issued; no confirmed sightings have been reported so far .
At 6 p.m., on Sunday Atlantic City Electric’s outage map shows power outages across the county totaling over 7,800 customers that are without power.
Monday morning at 7 a,m, Atlantic City Electric’s outage map shows 445 customers that are without power.
