Severe Thunderstorm watch in effect until 7PM

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch which is in effect until 7PM tonight.
This Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 92. Heat index values as high as 100. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. North wind between 6 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
