Accuweather reports, wet weather will return to the mid-Atlantic early this upcoming week as the same storm system that has been sparking damaging thunderstorms and flash flooding across the South heads northeastward.
Disruptions to travel and outdoor events such as baseball games will be the main impacts, though localized flash flooding could become a problem in a few areas.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue spreading northeastward into the Virginias through tonight and reach Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and southern New Jersey Monday.
