Roads Still Icy Late Monday Afternoon

ERMA- A number of roads were still icy late Monday afternoon including stretches of Seashore, Breakwater and Fishing Creek roads.
Bayshore Road in Villas was in rough shape from the Lower Township Library to the Wawa Store at the Fulling Mill Road intersection.
Motorists should allow themselves extra time if it is necessary to drive and figure on driving at 20 mph in spots. On a ride through parts of Lower and Middle townships, the Herald found icy spots on main roads and side streets that are barely passable.
Power lines to the County Airport were being strung at 4 p.m. Monday. If you broke your snow shovel, a replacement may be hard to find. Lowes in Rio Grande was sold out with another shipment expected Wednesday subject to the next storm.
