Rainfall Amounts Up To Half Of An Inch Possible Today

Rainfall amounts averaging one half to one inch are expected to fall across the area Monday afternoon through Monday night. While some local rivers or steams may see some rises, this is not expected to cause widespread flooding problems at this time, according to the National Weather Service.

Today: Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. High near 61. Southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of rain. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 43. East wind 15 to 18 mph becoming south 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. Southwest wind between 6 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. West wind between 8 and 14 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a west wind between 14 and 21 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.
