Pleasant Streak Coming To An End; Cool Week Ahead With Rain

The recent stretch of sunny days with mild afternoons is coming to an end. The return of rain, then frigid air is just around the corner.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST FOR CAPE MAY COUNTY

Today: Areas of dense fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph.
Tonight: A slight chance of showers after 1am. Patchy fog between 8pm and 2am. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 44. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday: A chance of showers before 1pm, then a chance of showers after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 60. South wind between 3 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11pm. Low around 55. South wind between 13 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly before 7am. Sunny and breezy, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.
Thursday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 57. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 51.
