COURT HOUSE – National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, which remains in effect from 10 p.m. March 3 until 1 p.m. March 4.
According to National Weather Service, snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.
National Weather Service’s latest snowfall forecast map (pictured) shows potential snow accumulations for our area.
Snow will begin to move into the region late this evening and spread over the region through the overnight hours. Snow is expected to continue through mid-morning before tapering off early Friday afternoon.
The snow will affect the Friday morning commute. Untreated roads, bridges, and overpasses will be slick by the start of the morning commute.
A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
