Ice Conditions Halt Cape May – Lewes Ferry Operations for Third Day

NORTH CAPE MAY – Due to continued significant ice accumulations in the Cape May Canal and Delaware Bay, Cape May-Lewes Ferry (CMLF) officials announced this morning that the Ferry will not operate its abbreviated schedule today, Sat., Feb. 21. The first scheduled departure this morning was cancelled yesterday afternoon.
The following departures will not operate today:
Cape May, NJ
11:00 a.m.
6:00 p.m.
Lewes, DE
12:45 p.m.
7:45 p.m.
Travelers who plan to use the Cape May – Lewes Ferry tomorrow are urged to call the Cape May – Lewes Ferry Guest Services Center at 1-800-64-FERRY (1-800-643-3779) or visit us online at www.cmlf.com for the latest departure information.
