COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Office of Emergency Management has issued a “Code Blue” advisory for Cape May County effective from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, Jan. 4 through Jan. 7, along with the following:
“The National Weather Service – Mt. Holly office, has advised that the temperature may reach 14 degrees Fahrenheit or lower Jan. 4. See forecast below for daily temperatures.
“A chance of snow, mainly before 7 p.m. Areas of blowing snow before 1 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 14. Wind chill values as low as -2. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
“Mostly sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values as low as -2. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
“Partly cloudy, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -5. West wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
“Mostly sunny, with a high near 16. West wind 8 to 15 mph.
“Mostly clear, with a low around 9.
