Code Blue Advisory Issued Feb. 25-27, 2019

ERMA – The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management has issued a “CODE BLUE” advisory for Cape May County effective from 6 p.m. Feb. 25, 2019 until 6 a.m. Feb. 27, 2019.
The National Weather Service – Mt. Holly office, has advised that the temperature may reach 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower Monday and Tuesday nights.
Persons seeking temporary shelter in a warming center should contact their local municipality. Additional resources are available by calling the County Homeless Hot Line Service at 1-877-886-1325 or 609-886-1325.

The following is the forecast from the National Weather Service:
Feb. 25 day
Sunny, with a high near 42. Windy, with a west wind 29 to 31 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph.
Feb. 25 night
Clear, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.
Feb. 26 day
Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 13 to 15 mph.
Feb. 26 night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
