Code Blue Advisory Extended Through March 9, 2019

ERMA – The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management has issued a “Code Blue” advisory for all of Cape May County effective from 6 p.m. March 7 to 6 a.m. March 9, 2019.
“Code Blue” conditions are in effect when the temperature reaches 25 degrees Fahrenheit or lower with clear skies or 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower with precipitation.
Persons seeking temporary shelter in a warming center should contact their local municipality.  Additional resources are available by calling the County Homeless Hotline at 1-877-886-1325 or 1-609-886-1325.

Weather Forecast:
Thursday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light north after midnight.
Friday: A slight chance of snow between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday Night: Rain likely before 8 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
