The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 6 pm to 10 pm this evening.
A prolonged onshore flow combined with an approaching full moon has caused tidal departures to increase and they will continue to do so through the day today. Since the high tide this evening is the higher of the two high tide cycles, minor tidal flooding can be expected at that time.
High tide will occur along the New Jersey and Delaware ocean fronts between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. High tides on the back bays and on the lower Delaware bay will occur up to an hour or two later.
