Cape May – Lewes Ferry Cancels Some Departures

NORTH CAPE MAY — Due to anticipated high winds and rough Delaware Bay conditions related to the approaching hurricane, Cape May – Lewes Ferry (CMLF) officials announced this afternoon that additional scheduled departures have been canceled for Fri., Sept. 3. The following departures are canceled:
Friday, September 3, 2010
Cape May, NJ Lewes, DE
8:30 a.m. 10:15 a.m.
9:30 a.m. 11:15 a.m.
12:00 noon 1:45 p.m.
1:00 p.m. 2:45 p.m.
3:30 p.m. 5:15 p.m.
4:30 p.m. 6:15 p.m.
7:00 p.m. 8:45 p.m.
Due to the uncertainty associated with the track of Hurricane Earl, weather conditions may further alter the departure schedule on Fri., Sept. 3 and Sat., Sept. 4.
Travelers who plan to use the Cape May – Lewes Ferry are urged to call the CMLF reservations and information center at 800 64 FERRY (800.643.3779) or visit the CMLF online at www.cmlf.com for the latest departure information.
