Bayfront Community Battered Again

REED’S BEACH — This Middle Township Delaware Bay community, battered by Hurricane Sandy, was pummeled again Dec. 26 and 27 as high winds whipped sand across the narrow access road that links broken homes along the beach.
The winds caused Delaware River and Bay Authority to cancel several crossings of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.
