70% Chance of Showers and Thunderstorms Today

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Cape May county. Some thunderstorms today may generate gusty winds and heavy downpours resulting in localized flooding of poor drainage areas. Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible.
Late Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Southwest wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind between 3 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
