Everyone’s invited to bring a camera to the Cape May County Zoo on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. and visit with two special guests—Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Again this year, The Board of Chosen Freeholders is hosting “Santa in the Tropics” in the Aviary at the zoo.
All participants will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus indoors in a tropical setting.
“This free holiday event is a way for us to share the joy of the season with our residents and visitors to the Cape May County Zoo,” said Freeholder Director Dan Beyel.
After telling Santa your wish list for Christmas, you proceed through the Aviary boardwalk, which will be lined with education and craft stations. Each child will then receive a treat.
Beyel reminds visitors that while at the zoo, they can visit the nearly 600 animals that call the zoo their home.
The Cape May County Zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House.
The free zoo is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year. (It’s closed Christmas Day; hence we get Santa early!)
