COURT HOUSE – Cape May County residents may be able to see a rocket launch off the coast of Virginia Oct. 16, weather permitting, NJ.com reports.
Cygnus cargo ship will be deployed from an Antares rocket no earlier than 8:03 p.m.
New Jersey viewers should look south-southwest to see what will look like a bright, moving star, according to the report. The ship should be visible once it’s at least 5 degrees above the horizon, which will take about 90 seconds in South Jersey.
Live coverage of the launch will be available here.
