UPDATE: Coast Guard’s ‘Perfect Storm’ Ship to Become Reef

CAPE MAY – An historic Coast Guard vessel will soon become part of an artificial reef off the coast of Cape May, according to a report by NJ.com.
The 205-foot USCGC Tamaroa, which was involved in the “Perfect Storm” rescue efforts and also saw action in World War II, had been slated for sinking in late 2016, and is now slated to be sunk Tuesday of this week.
