UPDATE: Body Found in Sea Isle City Bay; Police Release Details

SEA ISLE CITY- An unidentified body was discovered floating in the bay near the Lobster Loft Restaurant on Thursday at 12:25 p.m. by a Sea Isle City resident. The body was transferred to Shore Memorial pending an autopsy. Officials say that there doesn’t appear to be anything suspicious but the investigation is ongoing at this time.
New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim. The victim is described as being a white male, 50-65 years of age, 5’5 to 5’10, and 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing black cargo shorts and a tan short sleeved collared shirt.
Anyone with information on the identity is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police at 609-561-1800. Extension 3355.
