Jughandle to Close for Bulkhead Repair, Police Announce New Traffic Pattern

Jughandle will close for about two months as repairs will be made to a bulkhead.

NORTH WILDWOOD – The jughandle to Anglesea Drive on Route 147 eastbound at milepost 3.54 in North Wildwood will be closed for appoximately two months due to a bulkhead rehabilitation job.  
According to a release, the proposed start of the new traffic pattern is March 18, giving enough time to complete the work before Memorial Day.
Description of new traffic pattern:  
Traffic for Anglesea Drive would be directed straight on Route 147 eastbound to a traffic light on New York Avenue.  They would take a left turn on north New York Avenue and again another left on West Spruce Avenue.  
From there they would be diverted left on West Pine Avenue.  Going straight on West Pine Avenue they would take a left turn on an intersection with Virginia Avenue.  
After that, the traffic would go straight and take a right on Route 147 westbound which would take them straight to the Anglesea Drive intersection.
