VILLAS – There will be maintenance paving occurring along Fulling Mill Road (C.R. 654) beginning at 7 p.m., June 5 and extending through the night until 7 a.m., June 6. The paving operation will start about 1500lf east of Garfield Avenue and extend easterly toward Route 47. The paving is primarily limited to the existing lane areas.
During the paving operation, eastbound traffic along Fulling Mill Road will be maintained. However, westbound traffic along Fulling Mill Road will be detoured with the exception of local traffic.
After 7 p.m. June 5, motorists travelling south on Route 47 intending to access Fulling Mill Road will be detoured onto Bayshore Road (C.R. 603) in Green Creek. Motorist travelling north along Route 47 intending to access Fulling Mill Road will be detoured at Railroad Avenue (C.R .626) to Breakwater Road (C.R. 613) to Fishing Creek Road (C.R. 639) to Bayshore Road.
After 7 a.m. June 6, Fulling Mill Road will be reopened to both directions of travel. Motorists are advised to use caution when driving through the active construction area and immediately after construction is complete as there may be a period of time when portions of the roadway will not have traffic striping but only temporary center-line delineators.
