Bayshore Road Update for May 7-11

VILLAS – For the week beginning May 7 through May 11, the contractor performing work on the Bayshore Road project in Villas will be continuing with the installation of curbs, sidewalks, and gutter.
For a portion of the day May 7-8, the contractor will be working in front of the fire station and will be occupying the southbound shoulder. Traffic will be maintained using a lane shift.
For the remaining part of the work week, the contractor will be completing concrete work along the northbound shoulder and traffic will be maintained using a lane shift.
Bayshore Road will remain open to north and southbound traffic through the week, although there may be minor delays resulting from the various traffic shifts and delivery truck arrivals.
Motorist are urged to use caution when driving through the construction zone for their safety and for the safety of the workers.
