Three Summer Youth Arts Camps

By On Deck Staff

The Center for Community Arts is still accepting registrations for its Summer Youth Arts Camp now operating out of three Lower Cape locations: Cape May City Elementary School, The Millman Center in Lower Township, and at Wildwood High School.
YAP Camp is open to students 10 years and older. Talented teachers and artists guide participants through a creative and enriching variety of arts including jewelry making, painting, sculpture, dance, theater and much more. Camps run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. Check CenterforCommunityArts.org or call 609-884-7525 for details.
Classes for kids entering Kindergarten through 10-years-old are ongoing at the Cape May City Elementary School, 921 Lafayette Street in Cape May as well as CCA’s popular Art for Adult series.
Printable brochures and registration packets are available online or by calling the office. Ask about discounts for members, military and seniors.
The center’s summer art programs are made possible through grants from the Geraldine R. dodge Foundation, the Carpenter Family Foundation, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, The Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Discover Jersey Arts and by other generous supporters.
