Songwriter Conference scheduled

The second annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Conference and Showcase will be held on March 27, 28, 2009 at Congress Hall and 12 live performance venues in Cape May.
Last March the event featured artists from as far away as Australia, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
Interested musicians can submit original music and showcase applications prior to the Dec. 30, 2008 deadline. The showcase performances are held at night and are free and open to the public.
The event will include two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, clinics, mentoring, and keynotes at Congress Hall and the Harrison Conference Center.
Over 50 music industry professionals will participate as speakers, mentors, and talent scouts. Registration is open to the public and required to attend the afternoon music business events.
Discounts for seniors, students, and military are available.
