Skate Jam competition in Sea Isle City

A Labor Day Weekend Skate Jam competition is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29, at the Sea Isle City Skateboard Park, 59th and Central Avenue, 4 to 8 p.m. This popular event, which always attracts skateboard enthusiasts from around the region, is sponsored by Method Skate Shop in cooperation with the Sea Isle City Department of Community Services.
Skate Jams are free events for boys and girls of all ages. Competitors are divided into various age groups, and prizes are awarded to the winners of each group. There will also be additional giveaways and a free sticker-toss.
Participants are reminded that helmets are always required inside the Sea Isle City Skateboard Park. If need be, there is a rain date set for Aug. 30.
