SOMERS POINT – The nurses at Shore Medical Center, in Somers Point, are planning to strike Nov. 26.
The hospital and the New York State Nurses Association, representing Shore’s 320 nurses, have failed to reach a collective bargaining agreement for the last 11 months.

A team of replacement nurses trained Nov. 25 at a location offsite. Hospital spokesman Brian Cahill said Shore would be “fully staffed with experienced, licensed nurses” when the strike begins at 7 a.m.
