Shooting Mishap Hurts Hunter

HEAD OF THE RIVER – A 54-year-old Millville man was shot by a fellow hunter at Peaslee Wildlife Management Area Dec. 7, The Press of Atlantic City reports
The victim, whose name was not released, was struck with a single buckshot pellet to the left thigh. The shooter was a 16-year-old male from Petersburg. 
The victim was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, where he was treated and released.
A municipal summons is pending, the report continued.
