“SANTA’S FAMILY WORKSHOP” ARRIVES AT THE CAPE MAY COUNTY PARK AND ZOO DECEMBER 11TH !

By Lenora Boninfante

Cape May Court House – The public is invited to visit “Santa’s Family Workshop” at the Cape May County Park and Zoo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 11th. This year, the free, family event, hosted by the Board of Chosen Freeholders, will be set up in the Reptile House where everyone can bring their camera and take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
While waiting to visit with the jolly duo, you can write a letter to Santa, visit education stations or watch a holiday classic. After taking your photo, you can make a Christmas ornament to take home with you. Also, each child who visits with Santa will receive a coupon for a free gift redeemable at the Ark in the Park Gift Shop.
After telling Santa your wish list for Christmas, stroll through the zoo and see the more than 500 animals that call the Cape May County Zoo home – including our two snow leopard cubs born in May.
Freeholder Director Dan Beyel said, “This free holiday event is a way for us to share the joy of the season with our residents and visitors to the Cape May County Zoo. This special event is free and open to the public. So bring your camera and the entire family to the Cape May County Zoo for a day of holiday fun.”
The Cape May County Zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House (Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway).
The free Zoo is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year – closed on Christmas Day. Currently, the Zoo is open daily from
10 a.m. to 3:45p.m.
