Salt Caused Church Lights to Flicker

CAPE MAY – A parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Cape May reported violent shaking and flickering lights in the church around 6:30 p.m. March 26. 
Senior Communications Specialist Frank Tedesco of Atlantic City Electric said, “The flickering lights resulted from salt build up on some electric infrastructure in the area.”
Tedesco could not confirm any shaking.
Crews were able to address the issue of flickering lights and no outages resulted, Tedesco finished.
