AVALON – The New Jersey Run for the Fallen will pass through Avalon on Sept. 27.
In Avalon, they will enter from 80th Street and Dune Drive at about 1:27 p.m. There are “Hero Markers” placed every mile will the group will stop, saluted, and pay homage to one service member’s life and their family. Gold Star families may also be at each marker.
