Responding officers were told that a light to medium complexioned black male entered the bank and gave the teller a note that demanded money.
He was given a sum of money and then left the bank, headed in a northerly direction.
He wore a dark gray-blue hooded sweatshirt, which was up, and had a tan or beige interior cloth color. There was some sort of writing or emblem on the front of the hood.
That writing, according to police, or “some very similar was on the left breast area of the sweatshirt.”
He also work dark blue sweatpants or jeans, which matched the sweatshirt color, and white “sneaker-type footwear.”
The suspect was about 6 feet tall of stocky build. His mustached face had signs of past or present acne.
No weapon was displayed or indicated, and no one was injured.
Patrolman James D’Alonzo and Detective Don Nelson are handling investigation.
Also assisting the investigation were the FBI, county Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Unit and Major Crime Unit, and Sheriff’s Department K-9 and ID units.
