Report of CDS Activity Leads to Two Arrests

LOWER TOWNSHIP – On Dec. 28, 2017, the Lower Township Police Department received reports of possible narcotics activity near the Villas WAWA. Ptlm. Kevin Boyle Jr. responded and located the vehicle, which was alleged to be involved. The two occupants of the vehicle were identified as Brandon S. Pfaff and his brother Robert E. Pfaff III, both are unemployed and they live in the 100 block of Woodland Avenue, in the Fishing Creek Section of Lower Township. A warrants check of the subjects revealed that Robert Pfaff had multiple outstanding warrants, including a no bail warrant from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
During their on-scene investigation, officers located five blue wax paper folds containing white powder believed to be heroin, one glassine bag containing a pill believed to be Suboxone, and a hypodermic needle. Brandon S. Pfaff was also in possession of an unlawful weapon (a large knife) at the time of the stop.
Both subjects were arrested, with Robert E. Pfaff III being charged with 2C:35-10A(1) Poss. Of Sched. I-IV CDS, 2C:35-10.5E(1) Poss. Of Prescription Drugs, and 2C:36-6A Poss. Of a Hypodermic Needle and placed on a Warrant authorized by the Honorable Judge Thomas Hillegass with no bail. He was transported to and lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Brandon S. Pfaff was charged with 2C:39-5D Unlawful Poss. Of a Weapon, 2C:35-10A(1) Poss. Of Sched. I-IV CDS, 2C:35-10.5E(1) Poss. Of Prescription Drugs, and 2C:36-6A Poss. Of a Hypodermic Needle and released on a Summons.
Ptlm. Kevin Boyle was assisted in this investigation by Ptlm. Eric Coombs, Ptlm. Jason Felsing, Ptlm. Jennifer Anzelone, and S/O Timothy Urquhart.
This case is pending in court, the above charged are innocent until proven guilty.
