Wildwood Crest Recreation Department has announced activities for the fall season:
Adult Volleyball Night, Mondays, 6 – 9 p.m. beginning Oct. 6. The program is open for beginning and experienced players.
Crest Pier Yoga Classes, three days per week, Crest Pier with Bobi Watson, Classes are Tuesdays, 10:30-11:45 a.m. and 7:30-8:45 p.m.; Thursdays, 7:30-8:45 p.m. (No class will be held Oct. 9).
Cost is $5 per class or $50 for 12 sessions. All ages are welcome. Come five minutes prior to start time and to bring your own mats.
Pier Walking, indoors, Crest Pier Recreation Center, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 12 laps around the inside of the facility equal one mile.
Adult Cards, Crest Pier Recreation Center Wednesdays at 10 a.m., free.
Paper Shredder available to Borough residents, Crest Pier Recreation Center 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday.
The Wildwood Crest Pier will open its doors for the fall season for indoor open recreation on Monday, Oct. 6. The schedule is as follows:
Mondays: grades 1-8, 3-6 p.m. (Wildwood Crest residents only).
Tuesdays: grades 1-8: 3-6 p.m. (Wildwood Crest residents only); High School: 6-8 p.m. (Island residents only); Adults: 8-9:30 p.m. (Island residents only).
Wednesdays: grades 1-8: 3-6 p.m. (Wildwood Crest residents only); Adults 30 and older: 6-9:30 p.m.
Thursdays: grades 1-8: 3-6 p.m. (Wildwood Crest residents only); High School: 6-8 p.m. (Island residents only); Adults: 8-9:30 p.m. (Island residents only).
Fridays: grades 1-8: 3-6 p.m. (Wildwood Crest residents only); High School and Adults: 6-9 p.m. (Island residents only).
Saturdays: grades 1-8: noon-2:30 p.m.; High School and Adults: 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
Note: Monday, Oct. 13 (Columbus Day) will follow Saturday schedule. Open recreation schedule is subject to change due to special events.
Crest Pier Cardio Kickboxing Classes
Aerobics/cardio kickboxing classes every Wednesday at 7 p.m. beginning Oct. 22 at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Classes will begin Oct. 22. Attendees are encouraged to bring one-pound hand weights.
Cost is $5 per class or $50 for 12 sessions. No pre-registration is necessary.
