NORTH WILDWOOD – “Boots at the Beach,” a long-running free music festival in North Wildwood, is “cancelled indefinitely” due to a variety of factors, event organizers announced Oct. 7.
The Anglesea Irish Society has hosted the event since 2015, except when it was cancelled because of the Covid pandemic. The Irish Society announced the cancellation via a Facebook post; the organization said that pandemic-related cost increases coupled with dwindling charitable donations forced their hand.
The release said that the Irish Society feels “great sadness” at the event’s “indefinite” cancellation.
