Preschoolers Learn the “Write” Stuff

NORTH WILDWOOD – Twenty-nine students in Karen Holland’s and Kelly Resnick’s pre-school classes at the Margaret Mace School were all smiles after being dubbed official newspaper writers.
As part of the curriculum teaching students about jobs in the community, a member of the Herald editorial staff showed students tools of the trade and shared how the story of Aza, the heroic North Wildwood dog, went from being a phone call to a story online and in print.
Each child was presented with an official press credential along with a pencil, pad of paper and, of course, a Herald.
