UPPER TOWNSHIP — The Upper Township Republican Organization is seeking candidates who are interested in serving on Upper Township Committee.
Registered Republicans who have lived in Upper Township for at least one year and who are interested in filling the Upper Township Committee seat are encouraged to submit a letter of intent and resume to Jeffrey Pierson, Upper Township Republican Organization, P.O. Box 725 Marmora, NJ 08223-0725 by Tues., Feb. 21.
Each candidate will be given five minutes to speak regarding their interest in the position during a meeting on Wednesday, March 1 at 6 p.m. at the Upper Township Senior Center, located at 1369 Stage Coach Road, Palermo. Upper Township Republican County Committee members will then vote and the candidate with the majority of the votes will receive the endorsement from the organization.
