NORTH WILDWOOD — In addition to races for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders, there are two candidates running for one open seat in the City Council race in the 2nd Ward for voters to choose from on the Nov. 2 Election Day.
Former educator, summertime Fudgy-Wudgy man and Incumbent Democratic councilman Joseph Duncan is proud of his more-than two decades of service to the city.
“I take pride in the progress community has made during my time on City Council,” he stated.
Voters will find Duncan’s name in Column 2 on their ballots.
Duncan is being challenged by Republican Salvatore Zampirri, a Boardwalk businessman who thinks city politicians can do a better job of communicating with their constituents.
“I see a growing disconnect with the people and the politicians who represent them, I plan to bridge the gap between the two,” Zampirri said.
Zampirri will be in Column 1.
