Senator Tom Kean Campaigns with Column One Republican Team

By Press Release

COURT HOUSE– With Primary Election Day just around the corner, State Senator Tom Kean (R-Union), leader of the New Jersey Senate Republican caucus, visited Cape May County on Thursday to campaign with Column One Republican candidates Ralph Bakley, John McCann and Rita Fulginiti.
Senator Kean rallied a room packed with campaign volunteers making phone calls at the local Republican headquarters, located at 1125 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City. Kean’s visit coincided with a big week of grassroots activity for the Column One Team. On Tuesday night alone, candidates and volunteers knocked on 750 doors in Upper Township.
“I’m grateful for Ralph Bakley and John McCann’s outstanding service to Cape May County,” said Senator Kean. “They’ve been leaders in the fight for lower taxes and less spending, and I look forward to working with them as we realize more affordable New Jersey.”
“Senator Kean is a great leader and an invaluable asset for Governor Christie in Trenton,” added McCann. “We’ve asked Senator Kean to tell Governor Christie that Cape May Republican stand with him as he pursues the fiscally responsible reforms our taxpayers need and deserve from their elected officials.”
“Our Column One Team has the momentum heading into next week’s primary,” added Freeholder Bakley. “As we go door to door, we’re finding voters appreciate how our campaign actually has a real message! John McCann and I will cut spending by 15% in 3 years or voluntarily retire from county government. We’re out there, fighting hard everyday, to keep Cape May County the most affordable place to live in all of New Jersey.”
