Official Results: Voters Keep Incumbents in Avalon, Sea Isle City

A third of registered voters turned out for the Avalon and Sea Isle City municipal elections May 12, according to County Clerk Rita Fulginiti.
Out of 3,187 registered votes, 1,067 cast their ballots.
Avalon:
The uncontested race for mayor saw Martin Pagliughi’s win with 495 votes.
Incumbents Charles Covington, 421, and Richard Dean, 360, retained their Borough Council seats. They faced candidate James Lutz, who took 210 votes.
Sea Isle City:
An uncontested race took place in Sea Isle City, with Leonard Desiderio remaining mayor, 481, and incumbents William Kehner, Sr., 463, and Frank Edwardi, Jr., 450, retaining their City Council seats.
